I too have been doing the same thing, but on 10m AM.  (Yes, I am a
glutton for punishment just ask my XYL) I've been told it's almost
impossible on ten AM because of the lack of 10m AMers in some states. I
must admit my return rate on 10m is better than your rate on 75m, I get
roughly 40% U.S. and 65% Europe back and always with an sase.  Certain
stations won't respond no matter how many cards you send. Surprisingly,
I have always been the person to initiate the QSL process.  I have never
gotten a request from someone for an AM contact.  I guess most AMers
have been around the hobby so long they already have all they needed or
lost interest in the QSL process.    Anyway, if you need Florida and I
don't think anyone needs Florida, let me know and let's set up a sked.
I will guarantee you will get a confirmation from me.
