Hi Bill, Thanks for your e-mail on the CCA First Wednesday AM Night. Some of
the best sounding rigs that we hear on the Collins Collectors Association
First Wednesday AM Night are the KW-1's, 32V's, 30K's ART13's, 32S-1's (yes
on AM) Dx-100's, T60's, Multi-Elmacs, Nationals, Hammurlands, HT-32's,
Harvey Wells, Gonsets, Knight-Kits, Viking II's Rangers, etc. etc... It
isn't just for Collins equipment. We (the CCA) do it for the AM activity.
Yes we hear you can work AM anytime.. That's true but with people being
busier than ever anymore this gives a structured time and place to get
together with others who enjoy AM. Not just AM BUT AM. Were talking the
cream of the crop whether it is a Collins or a Heathkit or a Knight-Kit it
is true Boatanchor. I hope you can join us for a great evening of AM! 73's
