That mint Stewart Warner R-390a that survived 4 (?) auctions
finally went for 699- when the seller finally set a rational
reserve. All original filters & fully working. Photos show how mint it
was. 1600 people looked at the latest page. I suggest this is an example
of the market working properly giving someone full value and plenty of
time to think about it, too.
So did you bid on this one? I bid 439- early in the first auction, but I
already have a beat up one from Fair ($150-) with a dead 2kc filter. Now
if that SW was a Collins then you would see more action of the type you
allude to.
