[AMRadio] Power, and the bad manners on the list

Let me join John and the others to invite back those that were ridiculed and
hurt by a few very rude people. AMers (and HAMs in general) do not generally
treat others that way. Al, you had a right to ask the question and to expect
a civil answer. The question certainly has been answered by very
knowledgeable (and considerate) amateurs.

As more and more hams are attracted to the AM mode, this question is going
to be asked again. The AM waveform is certainly one of the most
misunderstood subject in ham radio. Several list members have a great handle
on it and others will do themselves a favor by listening to them. Thank you,
John, Gary, Ed, Bacon, Don, and the many others.

This is a good list, comprised of many fine hams. Don't give up on it after
one bad incident.
