I run a short wave broadcast station with two transmitters.  One has a 4CX35000 in the final which puts out 50,000 watts.  Plate voltage is 10400, current is 6 amperes.  About 80% efficient.

Listen at 7.555 mc, 7 pm MDT or 11.715 mc 7 AM to 10 AM and 15.385 mc, 12 to 2 PM.  All mountain daylight time.

The other is a Gates 20 kW linear with a 4CX15000 in the final.

Both of these transmitters are neutralized and put out maximum power at the dip.  It can be done.
