[AMRadio] Building the Dummy Load

Do you know of or do you have a schematic of such a high wattage Dummy 
Load?  I have seen one built which belonged to W5TOP's Dad that he built 
back in the 40's.  It must be capable of holding a current flow  in excess 
of 5KW.  I've tried to find one of these but there simply isn't any out 
there that I've found.  I would like the source of the "Glowbars" and a 
schematic if you have one or if its in one of the older Handbooks, 'Which One'?
