I accept being incorrect gratefully! My intent and purpose was simply
to let the discussion continue.
I know that my BC-610 HAS to be throttled back to keep legal output.
Today's line voltages are too high for the design of this equipment. I use
a BIG variac to keep the voltage supplied to the BC-610 down closer to
original design voltage supplies.
If I run straight from the line voltage now supplied it will easily run
500W or better carrier. Obviously this will result in a significantly
greater than legal output at 100% modulation.
I NEVER professed to be THE source of absolute or correct interpretation
of the Rules and Regulations.
Once again - My intent and purpose was simply to let the discussion
continue, and not be stifled.
