I meant they are balanced, that is, both grid to coil straps
are equal length,, as are the plate to coil straps, and the coil
to cap straps.
I used flat braid originally designed for grounding
things...its silver plated, wide but flexible.
I have a few different sizes, 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, and 3/4 inch
wide...
 
I really must take some close up pictures of the rf deck
and the home brew receiver....
