Hi Paul:
  read your note with interest. I have been a ham since 62 and have lived 
most of my life in Ky. I have no ideal why any ky stations would be that 
low in the band with a net. for as long as i can recall all ky nets have 
been around  3.960 . that is where all the tfc nets and others have been. 
guess it is just some of the NEW  HIGH TECH hams who have figured they need 
to open that part of the bands. Just wanted to let you know that most of 
the boys here in Ky are not like that. guess ham radio has gone to hell in 
a handbag and the new  Dummy Up Lics.
