Hi everyone, Just wanted to give some statistics on last nights CCA Low
Power Night. I could of sworn we were going to do this in January even
though it sounded like July!! I only have stats from the Eastern and
Central time zone so far but they are pretty impressive. I had a count of
approximately 44 stations that checked in. Besides the number our main goal
was met! That was having a night where low power was the rule and Collins
wasn't a must. We had.... Rangers,AF67's. AF68's, KWS-1, Valliant's,
Millens, DX-40's, 32V's, ART-13, Gonset's, DX-60's, Harvey Wells, Knight
T-150, T4X, HT-40, 80T, rice boxes, and others.
Of the 44 checkins Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana,Michigan,
Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri,
Iowa, Arizona, and more.
Thanks to all of our net controls and anyone who helped relay on a very
difficult QRN evening!
I want to thank all of you who braved the QRN and hope your ears are better
tonight. If you would like to see another or more AM nights sponsored by the
CCA or any ideas for event's please get in contact with me. Constructive
criticism is always welcome!! 73 Larry WA9VRH wa9vrh at ocslink.com
