If you have 20 to 25 watts now it is not worth the trouble to add an amp
with 807s or 1625s.
4 of them will get you about 200 watts output on cw. On AM the drive
needs to be reduced to 1/4 the cw power out. That would give you 50
watts out in the AM linear mode for 4 tubes. Unless you are going to
plate modulate them then you could get around 200 watts output.
You would be better off with 811A's or something a little bigger than
the 807 type tube for an AM linear amp.
