thanks so much for those suggestions. I will certainly take all of 
that into cosideration. I already have the screen current meter wired 
up so I can watch the screen current on individual tube, or both 
tubes at once. Hopefully this will allow me to pick a pair of tubes 
that are very close in characteristics.

I finished the HV supply for the 805's last night, works very very 
well.

Hopefully frankenstein will be OTA in a week or two. I still have not 
started on the speech amplifier. I'm getting serious about gathering 
up those parts this week. Need to order the chassis.

57 degrees this morning in Shreveport Fellows. The 3880 crowd is 
on now (4:50 AM) so I gotta go
