May be a great nostalgic kinda thing...but I will just say, be very cautious
with the source.  I am aware of several
problems connected with this business.    More I will not say in this forum,

   I saw an add (1/2 page)in back of the latest QST
advertising a newly manufactured GK 500d built out of
Paris Texas for ~ $3895.00
   It advertises updated circuitry, Peter Dahl
transformers, solid state VFO, and a 6 week delivery
time. Anybody know about this? It uses the WRL logo on
the 4-400 RF deck.
Makes me want to pull out my VISA card...
