[AMRadio] Scope Probes

Most standard scope inputs are rated for 600 v DC.
as are standard probes.
But..... it's easy to make the mistake I did with a cheap
x1/x10 probe . The setup looked ok with 10vdiv on the scope
and probe on 10x giving me 800v readability.
Right..... the divider resistor in the probe went off like
a firecracker and cracked the housing.
They meant 600v DC MAX on the probe.
Have had no problems with the older large TEK 10X probes.
I did manage to blow two inputs of my TEK7000series 100mhz.
P.I.'s with only a PW single 6L6 final into a dummy load.
Nothing like peak to peak RF.
