If it helps, the plastic strips used in the B&W 850 coils is, indeed,
plexiglas. Any plastics supplier should be able to supply the appropriate
material and adhesive to repair your 850.
By the way, B&W was a local company here in the Philadephia area (Bristol,
PA to be exact). Up until a few years ago, you could buy replacement spacer
strips directly from the factory (their former sales manager, W3EOZ, was a
good friend of mine and I got my replacement parts- plastic strips, spare
contacts, etc- through him. Now that they've moved to NJ (Mount Laurel)
under new ownership, I'm not sure what the situation is ?
