Well, I've had both units... T-368 and BC-610... that's 
enough for me. The T-368 is superior in performance over 
the BC-610, let alone the Globe King. My hat's off to 
the venerable souls who can work on these transmitters. 
I still like the practicality of a versatile, tabletop 
unit. The Globe King still wins favor with me, even with 
it's minor shortcomings. The advantages still far 
outweigh the disadvantages.

BTW, A Globe King doesn't always go for over $1,000. 
But, it all depends on what you are interested in and 
are willing to spend on it. How about the Hallicrafters 
SX-88 receiver (I believe that's the nomenclature)... to 
me, it's a typical Hallicrafters product. However these 
are pulling in over $1,000 as well. Insane, YES... but 
to someone else, it's a work of art that they will spend 
top dollar for. Life is short, so you may as well have 
something that you enjoy using! :-)
