That sounds great. The room is still available. I'd like to leave
Thursday right after I get off. That would get us in Dayton about 10:30 PM
Eastern time Thursday night.
I always get up early - about 5 AM, and try to get there ASAP, to find a
parking space near the hamfest. I first try the side street near where the
AM tent was last year. If that is already full, then there is the place
across the street where you have to pay $5.
I plan to fill in for Dale and moderate the AM forum. They are supposed to
have a ticket for me when I get there. I usually go to the pub and have
breakfast to kill time till things open up. If you don't have an advance
ticket, you have to wait till they open up the offices to get in. In the
past, Dale would have a fleamarket space that allowed him to get in before
opening, to set up. He would slip me his fleamarket ticket thru the fence
and I would use it to get inside the fleamarket until everything else opens
up. Dale won't be there to do that this year. (I assume you don't have a
fleamarket space), so we might have to just kill time till things open up.
73, Don
