McAffee or Norton, etc might not be enough just by themselves. You may
very well have to DISABLE certain options in Micro$erft Outlook or
OutlookExpress such that ALL SCRIPTS are disabled, that auto-execution is
DISABLED, etc.
As time goes on and this SAME dopey situation persists with Micro$erft
products, I begin to feel left out, since I've yet to participate in this
continuing agony. Online since '92- Internet since mid-'95 and I'm running
the same Wintel hardware as the Windoz users, too. I could understand it
if I ran different hardware like Mac or most Sun & SGI boxen, or even
Linux on Wintel. So the weakness is clearly just in Windoz
system/applications.
Also, you may already have taken the steps mentioned above. I'm lacking
any direct experience, unfortunately, so seek special help from guru
types.
