AMers need to hone their transportational skills, out of necessity. Tools
like JOHNSON BARs, come-alongs, 2x10s & 4x4s of varying lengths, bumper
jacks, assorted CRIBBING blocks, transmission jacks (from Harbor Freight
Co), etc all help get the job done.
Single handedly, too, if necessary. Hint: there won't be an 'E.F.' or
'Viking' on a Johnson Bar, nor will it contain cold 807s.
A bit of luck is always welcome, too. Like the morning after I trucked
that 5kw (800 lb) mod xfmr home from Staten Island- 200 miles- I noticed
one of the rear tires on my van had 120 degrees of steel mesh hanging out.
Glad that was not a 210 mile trip.
