His wife passed recently but  Leo should still be modulating.
By the way, Mike - I never QSO'd you directly but I have enjoyed listening
to your good Globe King 500 and visiting your website.
I nabbed a GK 500B last September from John Miller, WN3V in Harrisburg PA,
and it drove back here to Tucson, AZ.
While I was driving cross country, guess who had the loudest and best AM
signal (listening on my ICOM 706MK2G mobile)?   Why, WA5CMI in Garland, of
course.
I don't have the GK on the air yet.  I am remanufacturing the loading switch
contacts but soon.....  When I get it done, I will holler at you.
