<< I picked up a National speaker with an SX 28 and have never seen a speaker
like this one. I don't have any publications to see if I can match it so I
pose the question to this group in hopes of identifying it.
The speaker is a box approximately 6-7" tall and 19" wide. It has two
speakers inside one about 5-6" in diameter and another approximately 4" in
diameter. In this speaker they are wired in parallel. The box has a lid
with a spring catch and a finger hole to open the lid. Both speakers have
the appropriate opening in the panel. This box has the red NC logo in the
middle of the larger opening. I am thinking it may be some early HRO
speaker, but I don't know the lineage.
Does this strike a cord with anyone?

Sounds like someone took a rack-mounted HRO speaker and put it in a standard
Bud box.
