FWIW....the DX-100/DX-100B uses 6146's in the final (most likey should NOT use
6146B's as these are designed for SSB service - see other posts on this topic
and recent Electric Radio mag) and uses 1625's for modulators...the Apache uses
6146's also in the finals, but different modulators are used.  Again, the
Apache should use 6146 or 6146A's (not 6146B or 6146W) in the finals as it was
designed around the 6146 tube....and the B version came out after the TX-1 was
produced.  FWIW.
