[AMRadio] Suggestions for restoring a DX-100

    The 350 Pontiac v8 was a small block. I recall GTO's with 389
(tri-power), and 400 (quadrajet). They were very fast, handled well, and
fair brakes. A friend of mine got his 68 "Goat" engine rebuilt, and opened
it up late at night on a long straight 2 lane country road. At about 140+
MPH (speedometer pegged), the hot exhaust manifold burned through the +
battery cable killing the ignition, lights, and even his AM radio. Needless
to say, going 140 with no lights, power brakes, or power steering on a jet
black night was a trip to remember. He stopped it though without incident,
other then losing his seat cushon which he sucked up during the panic!

Regards,
Jim

PS I did mention AM radio!
