Boomer...!
I'm surprized at you for even THINKING such a thing !

You should know from the number of posts you've seen
me make that I DO believe that every netizen has a
responsibility to conduct themselves with at least a
minumum of decorum while online, hence the many times
I've been 'informed' by those NOT doing so that 'they
can do whatever they darn well please'. And I should
arse-out. ;)

I'm just as bold in public (face to face) as I am here...
I'm the kind of person that upon hearing some jerk curse
and profane in public, will politely ask them to not do so,
and if they want to get froggy, I can and will get that way
as well :) I'm only 5'8" and 270# but I do OK in a tussle,
and if they choose to follow a path other than hand-to-hand ?
Well. I can deal with that, too! ;)

Ahhhh.... I long for a return to the Old West,
where everyone wore an iron on their side and
respect was a common commodity, because if you
did NOT respect another you ran the risk of
losing your life - or at least taking a trip
to the local doc' to get a hole patched up ;)

And if you disrespected a woman, might as well KYAG!

Now THAT'S how "politically correct" I am !!!
(eg; not very)

I'm all for having the owner/moderator make the call on
this kind of stuff, but it appeared to me that s/he was
letting this one run the gamit for whatever reason
(which I don't have a problem with either).

I think you MAY be a little confused on THIS issue,
Boomer ol' boy... ;) I never complained about the
language being used (in THIS situation), and it seems
like you're insinuating that I did... :-/

What I DID say was that I consider this 'delete key logic'
to be a LAME, OVERUSED excuse for moral miscreants to do
or say whatever they choose and lay the blame for their
lack of responsibility on everyone else!
Now THAT urinates me off!!!

(alright! no smartarse comments about the fly on the seat!)

Talk about a sickening yuppie 'PC' type attitude! WOW!

I'm all for that!
I'm not the one replying with a chapter from a manuscript.
(<smile> you know *I* am)

Violent ??? You think THAT was VIOLENT ?
Sheeesh! I didn't even have the burner lit.

So sorry (not really) if I've offended your
sensitive feelings by expressing what I think
about the 'lame duck delete key logic' and
citing a perfectly viable reason for NOT
operating under that 'mode'... <grin>

73 Boomer,
            Bruce - KB6LWN/rcc

PS: If you have any further diatribes regarding
this topic, perhaps they should be made via direct
email and NOT to the list ? Even though I'm sure
there are at least one (maybe two) from each camp
that are getting a chuckle about all this.

I know *I* am... LOL
