[Alinco] Alinco DR-610 with no xmt audio

  Any chance that the unit is stuck in packet mode, where it
thinks it's in 9600 baud mode? Check page 68 of the manual.
I think it's toggled with the Function and RC buttons.

I have an Alinco DR-610, which I think is a great rig, however,
it has developed a problem.  Probably I should say I made it
develop a problem.
