   There is a battery, but I don't have this radio. GUESSING, I'm pretty sure it's on the
 CPU board, but since this has a remote display I'm not sure where it is! And I was looking
 at mods.dk and they have the ops and service manuals available for downloading. So,
 I would suggest that you head over to http://www.mods.dk and go to the Alnico page.
