[Alinco] DJ-596 DCS Question and Angel Ham Shop

Hi All,

Have a new (I hope) DJ-596T that I purchased at Pacificon. I hope
that it is new because the serial number on the box and the unit do
not match. Remember that old saying - "If it sounds too good to be
true it probably is"? Well I'm living it now.

It seems that Angel Ham Shop is no longer an authorized dealer. I
also learned of a huge number of people sending their radios for
warranty work and never seeing them again.

Anyway, I digress. The radio seems to working find except that the
DCS does not open on receive. The transmit side works fine. Anyone
else run into this before or have any suggestion?
