Get into the settings and see if there is a setting called 'SP OF' or something similar. My 610 has this setting to defeat the internal speaker. I'm not sure why that is necessary as the external speaker plugs into a switching jack, but . . . this might be an easy fix.

Hi: I just acquired a used DR-130T Sn T009626 with no instructions at a hamfest
yesterday. Everything seems to work ok except the audio output in to the
internal speaker is dead ( yet the external works ok) and I can not figure out
how to get it into simplex mode. It seems that there is no DR-130T
Instruction Manual posted to Alinco's web site. I did find the service manual.
Was there something that would usually fail in the audio circuit? The only way
I can get it to simplex is to set the offset to zero and then save it to
memory.
Any help that anyone can provide would be appreciated.
Over all , I am impressed with the quality of the radio...
