My favorite mount for this situation is made by Lakeview

It mounts behind your license plate. The license plate is the only
standard part on all cars. My first reaction when I saw one (right after
drilling holes in my car) was "why didn't I think of that. It is an
elegantly simple solution.

Obviously you can buy hamsticks from them too. I think they have the best
ones.

I have no connection with them, other than appreciating a good design.
