[Alinco] DX-70 died

I was just about to call CQ on 6m yesterday and my DX-70 died as soon as I 
keyed up, Now no display, no sound, all you hear is a relay cliking when you 
push the power button, and clicking again when you release it. I have a good 
power supply and had had great luck with the radio untill then.

Anyone else had this problem and can possibly give any suggestions as to what 
the problem would be before I crack it open?
