[Alinco] I AM NEW TO ALINCO. QUESTION ON ALINCO 220 MHz transceiver

David: The 222 MHz Alinco mobile is a solid radio, easy to operate. I
like mine. 222 MHz is more active in some areas than others. In many
major cities, it's quite active. In other areas, not so busy, which can
be an advantage if you like a good long conversation with another party,
without fear of bugging others. If you like the notion of having a
frequency not monitored by many, it can also be an advantage, as many
nets have found. And each new 222 MHz user adds to the numbers of those
using that band, which is a deterrent to those who would like to take it
away for commercial use.
