Glad to see some activity on the list.

My question is about a DR 600. I've been using it since new as a
remote-control cross-band repeater (handi range extender, basically) and
last year it stopped putting out measureable power on UHF. I can still hear
it within a few hundred yards of the house. I assume the power amp went
South, but am interested in knowing if anyone else has been there and done
that, and can give me pointers, including how to test and where to get
spares. TIA.

BTW, it is really great as a cross-band remotely-controllable repeater -
they really improved the RC protocol over that in the 590. The only problem
was that the DTMF decoder was set WAY too sensitive and suffered from lot's
of falsing. I have a fix for this, if anyone wants it.
