[Alinco] DR 600 Memory problems

My DR 600 is driving me nuts.  Came out one morning to find it had lost all
of its memories.  After a couple of tries at re-programming and losing
again, I finally replaced the memory battery.

Now the radio is acting rather erratically.  It will hold the memory for a
few hours (this morning from 7:30AM-2:30PM) but not overnite.  If it's not
the memory battery, what else could it be???

Love the radio... would hate to give it up...  any ideas, anyone???
