[Alinco] Need help w/ DR-590

        Hello, I have a DR-590 that has lost it's mind!! When I have it
on, there is no audio, and no matter where the squelch is, it shows busy.
This is on VHF and UHF. It also shows to be transmitting on UHF all the
time. pressing the PTT has no affect on it. I have checked with meter,
freq counter, and another radio, and there is no output. Also, it does
not recognize another signal source as transmitting. I have tried the
regular reset method. I have removed the backup battery. Nothing. Had a
power outage while I was away from the house, and when I returned, it was
acting this way. Have protection on all circuits, and nothing was blown,
and no other radios on this supply were affected (2 more Alinco's). Any
ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, I would much
rather prefer repairing it here, than to send it in. I have no idea what
the going rate is for repairs, but could probably find another one for
the cost of repairs by  the service center...
