Kevin Coleman in OEM will conduct an Everbridge notification drill for CERT. Everbridge is the City's alerting system and is used to activate CERT (among other things). This is NOT an activation, but an important test for CERTs to respond as if they are needed for an activation.
Date: Friday, January 13
Time: approximately 12 noon
Description: You should receive the notification in up to 3 ways:
- Text Message to your mobile phone
- Voice call to your mobile phone
- Email to your registered email address
ACTION: Respond to the notification using only ONE of those 3 methods. Do not reply to all 3 methods! The notification will expire after a certain amount of time, determined by Kevin. If you reply after that, you should get a notice that the notification is no longer in effect.
Kevin will get a report after the drill and we'll review that for response rates, bad mobile numbers or email addresses, etc.
