While it is part of the District of Columbia, it is located on the
Virginia side of the river and can only be reached from the

From Interstate 395 Northbound leaving Shirlington, take Exit 8B
"Pentagon/Arlington Cemetery/Rosslyn" and bear left on Virginia State

After exiting George Washington Memorial Parkway southbound and
entering the park, turn right at the stop sign.

We will be operating from picnic tables set up on the waters edge
under the trees - bring your lawn chair.

Free parking and public restrooms are available at Lady Bird Johnson
Park / Columbia Island Marina.

Talk-in on the W4WVP repeater 145.470 MHz - , PL 107.2 Hz

The monthly Day in the Park radio operating event is held from April
through October to allow club members to set up and test field
antennas, conduct portable amateur radio operations, practice
operating in a field environment, and mentor new ham operators in the
art and skill of amateur radio.

Grab a cup of coffee and join us on Saturday morning!

See you there!
