It was a double lightning bolt night tonight folks.  POTA this weekend at the Columbia Island Marina, 0800 start. Internal antennas and gutter antennas.  An "almost" uncomfortable discussion on compliance with the phonetic alphabet that your NCS navigated through the not-so-subtle tactic of agreeing, not agreeing, and generally trying to avoid ham-on-ham violence (a term I like to use and should copyright).  I think it was good, I was convinced by all points. It wasn't 2-meter excitement, but it there may have been some electricity in the air!  The happy highlight of the night had to be a check-in from KE2GUK (KQ4ZCO's mother) who was perched atop an apartment building as the overlord of I-495.
