Talk about being photobombed! Very interesting DSTAR chat tonight, with 13 stations jumping in and some successful and befuddling digital picture transmission tests after. We’ll definitely be playing with more picture xfer as we go. 

We definitely had 3 successful image transmissions tonight, and you’ll find a couple of screenshot proofs on Discord and the club listserv. Fascinating and potentially very useful capabilities right there with an Icom or Kenwood DSTAR radio…or those clever hotspots!

Which of course begs the question - can you transmit images on any digital modes other than DSTAR??

And as always, thanks to our mysterious guardian angel who linked/unlinked our repeater to the 97C Reflector for the Net tonight. I swear I’ll be looking into that this year!
