[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Calling for March Net Control Stations!

CQ All-

We are halfway through the month of February, so it's time to start the
"pulling teeth" for net control stations for March!

DSTAR Wednesday- 4, 11, 18, 25 March
2m Thursday-  5, 12, 19, 26 March

There are no scheduled Special Nets for March.   But there's the
possibility of a "pop up" net being announced via the Reflector and Discord
chats.

NCS TRAINING-  Any future NCS training for the year is on hold for now.
What I am finding is that the vast majority of the stations who have gone
through the training throughout the past three years are no longer constant
net controllers for the club, so the return on investment in this effort
has not been good for the club.

Additionally, some may have assumed that the NCS training was used as a
"gatekeeping" device...not so!  We provided it as a service for those who
had never been an NCS in the past to get a little bit of classroom and
radio training before taking on a net.

I'm still looking for new voices to become NCS'... so if you're interested,
please send me a note and we'll let you "grip it and rip it" on a Wednesday
or Thursday evening!
