The George Washington Parade date is nearly here and the weather, unlike what we are currently experiencing, is expected to be dry and relatively balmy in the 40's.  We are waiting on the final count for the number of assembled divisions in the parade.  Last year we supported 11 Divisions.  This year there was some speculation that there would be 14 Divisions which means we need a few more people so for those of you that we haven't heard from, now is the time to step forward.  Our primary function is to ensure that any changes in the Order of March are communicated to the Trailer where the changes are made to the master spreadsheet and the spreadsheet is reprinted, division by division, and delivered to the parade announcers on the reviewing stand.  The only gear required is a 2-meter radio tuned to the K4US repeater as the primary and the W4HFH repeater as the backup. 
The parade kicks off at 2PM and should be finished around 4PM.  Our "after action" review session has been setup for Foster's Grille 2004 Eisenhower Avenue, a great location for burgers and other delights with plenty of parking available.
Send me your name so I can get you on the list.  I will send out an info package with maps of the parade route and staging areas, areas to park and the location of the reviewing stand and the Club trailer.
