[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] 2m Net Today!

Hello ARC!

 

We had an excellent net last night, and I appreciate everyone slowly and
phonetically pronouncing their callsigns for me. I also appreciated the
support for my very first net control operation.

With that, the theme was "what advice would you have loved at the beginning,
looking back on your years of ham radio?" We had numerous suggestions around
SMR meters, not getting too wrapped around the 1:1 SWR, and someone
explaining the "5" scale much sooner.

Our 2m net is today, Thursday night, at 8pm local time on the W4HFH repeater
147.315 using a tone of 107.2.
