[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] 11 April 2026 HF Special Net Announcement

CQ All-

The Special HF Net is still a "go" for this Saturday!   We are going to try
a different band other than 10 Meters for this net, so sorry, Techs...
you're not going to be able to participate in this one unless you get your
upgrade ticket done before Saturday AM.

The primary band will be on 80 Meters and frequency at 3.850 MHz and the
alternate frequency 3.950 MHz.   The *alternate *band will be on 40 Meters
at 7.250 MHz and alternate frequency at 7.290 MHz.  I'll come up on the
primary frequency to "claim" the freq for the net and to do radio checks
for stations who want/need one.  I will need a backup/secondary NCS in the
case where my station cannot be heard.

If there are any changes to the band and frequency plan, please have your
VHF radios tuned into the club 2m repeater so I can pass those
announcements locally.

This will be a modified net with only one round of check-ins and comments.
 It will be interesting to see if we get any out of area stations checking
in for the net.
