[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Tons of Trucks

Greetings Fellow Members!

Just a heads up on Saturday’s event.

For those that will be supporting the Club this Saturday for the Tons of Trucks event, I have attached maps and pictures of the site with the laydown of what org is in which area.  While we haven’t been provided a specific parking location for the trailer, as we are sponsored by OEM, I will try to setup the trailer in the early part of the oval, perhaps between Police and Sherif, which is adjacent to the OEM tent.  Please wear your club gear (hats / shirts) if you have them as most of the senior city staff will be there and we want to convey a professional image.  The rest of the city staff will have their uniforms or hats & shirts on too!
The organizers have asked that those supporting the event be onsite by 830-9AM so that everything can be setup and ready for the 10 AM opening.  For our folks supporting the event, you can park in the lot adjacent to the tennis courts, accessed by driving nearly all the way around the oval.  For those that want to come by to visit, the high school parking garage will be open and available.  It appears that they intend to roadblock the park just before the event begins and I expect the park to remain blocked until the end of the event at 2 PM.
I am bringing a large cooler of Gatorade and water for the crew and the visitors.  There will also be food trucks located on site for food service.
