CQ All-

It's a little bit early for my monthly call for NCS' for the next month,
but because I'm going to be on an OCONUS TDY next week, I'm getting this
ball rolling a few days earlier.

DSTAR Wednesday:  1, 18, 15, 22 and 29 October
2m Thursday:  2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 October

OCTOBER SPECIAL NETS-  We'll try our hand again at the "ask" for a HF
Special Net next month.   For September, I had no takers for an HF net, but
there were a few folks interested in a 70cm special net, which was a small
but successful evolution this past Saturday AM.  Lots of band options for a
daytime HF ground wave net... 10, 12, 15, 17 and 20 meters.   Please send
me an email if you're interested in a special HF net for October.

Additionally, looking to see if anyone with 6 meter capability would like
to participate in a special net on the club's 6 m repeater.

NCS CLASS MAKE UP PRACTICE NETS-  If you were a "student" during the last
round of NCS training but were not able to join us for the practice nets,
please contact me so I can get a quorum for a make up day, most likely on a
Saturday AM.   Deadline for requests is on 27 September.

Please sign up for NCS duties, participate in our nets and utilize our
repeaters!
