[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] November NCS Solicitations and 25 October 10 Meter HF Net Announcement

CQ All-

It's that time of the month yet again!  Looking for NCS's for our upcoming
nets in November!

DSTAR Wednesday- 5, 12, 19 November (CANX the 26 November net for
Thanksgiving)
2m Thursday- 6, 13, 20 November (CANX the 27 November net for Thanksgiving)

SPECIAL NETS-  The special nets outside of DSTAR and the 2 Meter FM
repeater have been gaining traction over the past several months.  I would
like to take some of these "special nets," especially on 6m, 70cm and HF
and turn them into permanent weekly or bi-weekly nets on the club's
schedule.  The caveat is if we schedule more nets, we will need more net
controllers!  Please send me feedback via email you'd like to make some of
these additional special nets permanent.

*10 Meter HF Net- 25 October @1000.*  The primary frequency will be at
28.350 MHz and the alternate frequency will be at 28.450 MHz to alleviate
any concerns of Technicians who are participating will be operating "out of
band" if we have to use the alternate frequency.  More details to follow
later in the month.

I will act as the NCS for this Saturday's net.   I plan on getting on the
frequency around 0950 and will standby for any stations that would like to
do a radio check prior to the net starting.  If we make a change from the
primary to the alternate frequency, I'll make an announcement on the 2m
repeater prior to kickoff.
