[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Fw: Volunteers needed for 2025 SCWW Parade

Rick,
I’m a little confused here.  This email indicates that you supported this event last year but the support requirement has nothing to do with communications.  They are looking for utility infielders (“ we are looking for volunteers to assist with various roles, including banner carriers, vehicle lineup, and more. Your participation would make a significant difference, and we would be grateful for your support.”)  What gives?  Was this some sort of CAP support task?
Some of the City volunteer groups (CERT, MRC & VOL ALEX) will be working the Scottish Walk and the Parade of Lights later on in the day under OEM direction but the Club has not been asked to provide communications support for either event.
