[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] MCM Participation: Alexandria & Arlington

In response to a request from some of the club members, here's a recent list of participants from the Alexandria (W4HFH) and Arlington Clubs (W4WVB and W4AVA) that are supporting the 50th Marine Corps Marathon.  The Alexandria count is 7 but we can do better.  There's a map on the Marine Marathon website with all the Aid Stations, Water Stops and Mile Markers shown. Find the label mid-page which says MCM Volunteer Opportunities which will take you to the registration website.  The Amateur Radio Operator (ARO) volunteer opportunities line is the first one listed under Sunday Oct 26. 
Click the Volunteer ARO assignment, fill out your details and send.  Please let me know if you have questions about any of it.  Hopefully, you will be able to operate at the location you selected in your application.  Lower mile markers get released earlier than later mile markers if that is something that helps you make your decision.  Come on out and enjoy the day on the 50th Anniversary of the Marine Corps Marathon.
