[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] ARC December Net Control Station Solicitation

CQ All-

It's that time of month again to start the "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE" campaign
for stations to become net controllers for the month of December and to
wrap up a great year of DSTAR and 2m excitement!

Because of the holidays, it's going to be a "short" month in December for
nets:

DSTAR Wednesday:  3, 10 and 17 December
2m Thursday: 4, 10 and 18 December

There are *no *nets scheduled for the 24th, 25th, 31st of December and 1
January due to the holidays.  Additionally there are *no special nets *that
will be scheduled for December as well.

To reiterate what I said during the club meeting last Friday... we have a
lot of operators in this club, many who have taken the net control training
or have past experience, but the number of NCS' has dwindled down to a
handful.   Across the board, we've had decent participation in our weekly
nets this year, but it's like pulling teeth to get someone to take an hour
out of their Thursday night to host one as the NCS.  If you don't want to
hear "dead air" on a Thursday night, then please sign up to be a NCS!  We
need you!
