[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Nomination for Virginia Section Manager

Ladies and Gentlemen,
 
We have an opportunity to nominate one of our local own, Mike Aimone, for ARRL Virginia Section Manager in the Roanoke Division.  I believe this movement to nominate began out at Vienna Wireless but we have been asked to support it and I would really like to make that happen.   Mike recently won Ham of the Year for the Roanoke Division so the Section Manager's position in a next logical step.
 
I know many of you know Mike and know the volumes of work he has undertaken in promoting Amateur Radio.  Mike would make a great Section Manager and could give us a stronger clearer voice in the Virginia Section / Roanoke Division.
 
The process for nomination is old school.  The nomination sheet needs to be a signed original with your name, call, city and zip code.  To qualify to sign, you must be an ARRL member and live in Virginia.  Would have been much easier to have provided a "fillable" PDF that could have been circulated.  Oh well..... next time!
 
If you meet the above criteria and will sign the nomination form, I will get the form to you.  Perhaps we could have a signing social at a local watering hole if that would work better.  I could wait until the monthly meeting to gather signatures but would prefer to get signatures early as possible and return them to the originator as soon as possible. 
 
Please let me know by return email if you can support this ask and provide your preferred location for a social signing.  (Port City or other).   We'll have a little fun while helping someone else out.
