[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Join Us for the 2025 ARRL Field Day – June 28–29 at Chinquapin Park!

Dear Alexandria Radio Club Members,


We’re excited to invite you to take part in the *2025 ARRL Field Day*,
happening the weekend of *June 28–29 at Chinquapin Park in Alexandria, VA*!


Field Day is our biggest annual event—a 24-hour opportunity to operate on
the air, showcase amateur radio to the public, and spend time with fellow
hams. The event *officially begins at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 28*, and
runs through *2:00 PM on Sunday*.


We’ll have a *setup period before the event*, and we encourage all hands to
come early and help get things rolling. Whether you’re looking to operate,
log, learn, or just hang out, there’s a place for you.


We’re also looking for volunteers for the following key roles:


   -

   *Safety Officer* – Care about the well-being of your fellow operators?
   This role is for you!
   -

   *Band Captains (HF/VHF/UHF)* – Want to lead the charge through a
   pile-up, help others sharpen their skills, or improve your own? This is
   your moment.
   -

   *Security Support (especially overnight)* – Enjoy wielding a flashlight
   with limited authority? We’ve got just the job.
